Social Media Manager and SEO Coordinator

(10-15 hrs/month)

Seeking part-time professional to work autonomously and visit Cambridge office on a biweekly basis for approximately 2 hour check-in.

Serenade is seeking a unique person to fill the role of Social Media Manager and Special Projects and Marketing Coordinator focused on SEO.  Compassion for the community is the foundation of our business and we seek employees and partners who promote the same ideal. Candidates should be energetic, kind, deadline-driven, and willing to drop by Serenade’s Kendall Square, Cambridge office for a biweekly two hour (paid) meeting.  Parking included.

Job duties include and are not limited to the following tasks:

·        Create and coordinate digital and print marketing pieces, oversee creation of written content as well as design/layout.  Act as liaison with print company.

·        Develop and implement social media strategy for event social channels (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter).

·        Manage content across all event social channels, including drafting content, photo selection, design templates and sourcing user-generated content,

·        Increase SEO

·        Regarding social media:

o   Oversee content approvals with internal team

o   Schedule and publish content across all social channels

o   Monitor and respond to public comments and direct messages from the community

o   Increase social presence and engagement across event social networks to drive brand awareness

o   Provide recaps and data driven reporting related to social media content and campaigns

o   Identify social media trends and work to actively incorporate new initiatives on event social platforms

Estimated pay is $50/hour commensurate with experience.
