Frequently Asked Questions
How much ash is required for each piece?
Our mission is to produce timeless glass art memorializing the person or pet you love. A tiny amount of ash is needed to create this heirloom. The process only requires 3 teaspoons of ashes so your family may keep the majority of the ashes in an urn or scatter in a special location. Once we receive the ashes, the one-of-a-kind piece will be produced and shipped within 4-6 weeks.
Are there discounts available for group orders?
Yes. If you have a large family or group of friends and would like to order multiple versions of the same piece, we will offer a significant discount. Contact email@example.com for group orders.
How does this process work?
Once you order your hand-blown piece of Serenity Glass, we will mail you a small kit to guide you through the simple process.
You will receive the kit approximately 3-5 days after you place order.
Using tools provided, you will package the 3 teaspoons of ashes so they are safely protected during mailing process.
Due to the unique nature of our business and the laws and regulations regarding mailing cremated remains (ashes), we require our customers to mail the ashes from a Post Office. We apologize for the inconvenience. Ashes must be shipped using Priority Mail Express and this process is very clearly outlined in the instructional kit. Clients will incur this $20 fee and this cost has been removed from the price of our products.
Upon receiving the ashes, we dedicate a moment of silence and pay our respects to the soul we memorialize. The ashes of your loved one will be handled with extreme care throughout the process.
During the process of glass-blowing, we create a timeless piece of art by infusing the ashes throughout the creation process.
When will I receive my piece?
You will receive your beautiful piece within 4-6 weeks from the date we receive ashes.
Can I incorporate the ashes of two loved ones into one piece of Serenity Glass?
Absolutely! Each piece requires 3 teaspoons of ashes so, in this case, you would include 1.5 teaspoons of the ashes of each loved one.
How do I clean my Serenity Glass?
To clean, hand wash in warm soapy water. Never pour boiling water over any glass, as the extreme temperature will cause piece crack. Extreme cold should also be avoided, such as placement in a freezer.
What if I break my piece or I don’t like it?
We sincerely hope you love your Serenity Glass. Should you not like the way it turns out, we will offer you a 50% discount on any other piece. Should you break your piece, we will offer you the same discount.
